বন্ধু

    প্ৰথম যিদিনা

             লগ  পাইছিলো তোমাক

   সিদিনা সাধাৰণ সহপাঠী বুলি

             ভাবিছিলো তোমাক;

 প্ৰথম যিদিনা কথা পাতিছিলো

             তোমাৰ  স’তে 

 সিদিনা আমনিদায়ক

             লাগিছিল তোমাক, 

 প্ৰথমে যদিও 

            ভাল নালাগিছিল তোমাক

 এতিয়া জীৱনৰ

             অংশ  তুমি। 

  লাহে লাহে তোমাৰ

              বন্ধুত্বৰ সাগৰত

  ডুৱাই পেলাইছা মোক। 

 তেতিয়াৰে পৰা 

               বন্ধুত্বৰ ঘনিষ্ঠ 

 কিমান যে 

                বাঢ়ি গ’ল ;

 তোমাৰ নামটো

              হৃদয়ত যেন

 অংকিত হৈ ৰ’ল।

 তোমাক পাহৰি থাকিব

 নোৱাৰোঁ কেতিয়াও সুখী ;

 যদিও প্ৰথমতে এইবোৰ মায়া

           বুজি পোৱা নাছিলো মই

 যেতিয়া বুজি পোৱা হলো

           সময় পাৰ হৈ গ’ল

 আজি এই বিদায়ৰ দিনা

 হিয়াত এচপৰা

          শিল যেন হৈ ৰ’ল ।

 নাই  যদিও চকুত পানী, 

      আছে  অন্তৰত মৰুভূমি

 তোমাক পাহৰি পাৱ নোৱাৰো

       জীৱনত কেতিয়াও সুখ , 

 তোমাৰ অক্ষুন্নতাই  জীৱনত

       পাইছো বৰ দুখ। 

 তোমাৰ স্মৃতিবোৰে দিয়ে সদায়

       মোক আনবিল সুখ;

 তোমাৰ নিচিনা আন এজন বন্ধু

       বিচাৰি পাম মই ক’ত ? 

 নাপাওঁ  নাপাওঁ

          কেতিয়াও নাপাওঁ

 তোমাৰ নিচিনা বন্ধু কেতিয়াওঁ

               বিচাৰি নাপাওঁ ।

সিদিনা উঠিল মনত

           প্ৰেমৰ চুনামি।

তোমাৰ হাঁহিটিত যেন 

             বিচাৰি পাওঁ

             সমস্ত ব্ৰক্ষ্মাণ্ডৰ  সুখ।

তোমাৰ চকুদুটি যেন

              সাগৰৰ বুকুত থকা

               মুকুতা মণি।

যিমানে চাওঁ ডুবি যাওঁ

                তোমাৰ মায়াৰ সাগৰ খনিত ।

বতাহত উৰি থকা 

                 তোমাৰ সেই চুলি

লাগে যেন কোনো

                 সাগৰৰ পৰি ।

তোমাৰ খঙতো যে

                  বিচাৰি পাওঁ 

মোৰ প্ৰতি থকা 

                   মৰম খিনি, 

তোমাকে ভাল পাওঁ

             তোমাৰে হ’ম

              তুমিয়েই মোৰ প্ৰেয়সী।

অজানিতে মনত পেলাবা
