मेरी एक बहना है – रक्षा बन्धन कबिता

मेरी एक बहना है,  

मेरा आदत है उसे  

थोड़ा सताना है।  

वह भी क्या कम है,  

जिसका काम मेरा  

रोज़ाना टांग खींचना है।  

प्यारी सा चेहरा है,  

मुँह पे रूठी हुई, दिल की पहरा है।  

क्योंकि सोचती है वह  

एक जो भाई है मेरी,  

जो भी मांगो,  

उसे दिलाने में करता है देरी।  

करती है मस्ती,  

थोड़ी सी शरारती।  

मेरी हर गलती को  

रोज़ माँ-बाबा के पास बताती,  

उसकी हर गलती पर  

मेरा डांटना,  

और फिर उसका रोना-धोना।  

और उसके बाद में,  

ये लादूँ-वो लांदूँ  

कहकर मेरा बहाना।  

फिर उसके बाद  

अपने आप समझ जाना,  

अपने आँसू पोंछना,  

और फिर उसका हँसना-खिलखिलाना,  

तो मेरा सिर्फ़ बोलना।  

फूलों का, तारों का,  

सबका कहना है,  

एक हज़ारों में मेरी बहना है।  

आज राखी के दिन,  

मेरे हाथ में उसकी राखी बंधाना है।  

मेरे माथे पे उसकी तिलक,  

जो कि मुझे उसके लिए रक्षक बनाना है।  

कोई भी मुसीबत हो,  

हर मुश्किल से उसे बचाना है।  

आज राखी बाजार में सौदा है,  

और मुझे उससे वादा है,  

कि हम भाई-बहन का रिश्ता  

सबसे आगे और सबसे ज्यादा है।  

रब से सिर्फ़ मेरी एक सिफारिश,  

कि वह कर दे मेरी बहन पे  

खुशियों की बारिश,  

ताकि पूरी हो जाए  

उसकी सभी ख्वाहिश।

Meri ek behna hai,  

Mera aadat hai use  

Thoda satana hai.  

Woh bhi kya kam hai,  

Jiska kaam mera  

Rozana taang kheenchna hai.  

Pyari sa chehra hai,  

Munh pe roothi hui, dil ki pehra hai.  

Kyonki sochti hai woh  

Ek jo bhai hai meri,  

Jo bhi maango,  

Use dilane mein karta hai deri.  

Karti hai masti,  

Thodi si shararati.  

Meri har galti ko  

Roz maa-baba ke paas batati,  

Uski har galti par  

Mera daantna,  

Aur phir uska rona-dhona.  

Aur uske baad mein,  

Ye ladun-vo landun  

Kehkar mera bahana.  

Phir uske baad  

Apne aap samajh jaana,  

Apne aansu poochhna,  

Aur phir uska hansna-khilkhilana,  

Toh mera sirf bolna.  

Phoolon ka, taaron ka,  

Sabka kehna hai,  

Ek hazaaron mein meri behna hai.  

Aaj rakhi ke din,  

Mere haath mein uski rakhi bandhna hai.  

Mere mathe pe uski tilak,  

Jo ki mujhe uske liye rakshak banana hai.  

Koi bhi musibat ho,  

Har mushkil se use bachana hai.  

Aaj rakhi bazaar mein sauda hai,  

Aur mujhe usse wada hai,  

Ki hum bhai-behan ka rishta  

Sabse aage aur sabse zyada hai.  

Rab se sirf meri ek sifarish,  

Ki woh kar de meri behan pe  

Khushiyon ki barish,  

Taaki poori ho jaaye  

Uski sabhi khwahish.
